Our employees take on real tasks like packaging, assembly, and kitting, while building skills that help them thrive at work and in everyday life.
Supported employment is about more than just the job. It helps people grow confidence, independence, and pride in what they accomplish. It allows them to be fully involved in the community, make lasting friendships, and contribute in a meaningful way through the work they do every day.

1. Initial Inquiry & Application
Initial inquiry about employment at Southeast starts by emailing Shea@southeastenterprises.org
2. Facility Tour & Initial Screening
Tours are designed to determine if the individual is a good fit for Southeast.
3. Eligibility Verification & Certification Process (if needed)
Eligibility verification for individuals who have never worked at a sheltered workshop will begin with a certification process through DESE or VR.
4. Testing Day (Pre-Employment Assessment)
A skill test will be scheduled after the tour of our facility (8AM – 11:30 AM).
