Southeast Enterprises is a 501(c)3 nonprofit sheltered workshop dedicated to creating meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For 50 years, we have believed that everyone deserves the dignity of work, a sense of purpose, and the opportunity to contribute their talents.
Our Associates can work five days a week in a supportive, structured environment, providing high-quality packaging, assembly, and kitting services for businesses throughout the Kansas City area. Beyond the work itself, Southeast Enterprises is a community that values growth, belonging, and independence.
Through vocational training, life skills, and strong community partnerships, we help our Associates build confidence, strengthen skills, and engage more fully in the world around them. Our Associates bring care, pride, and consistency to their work, and their contributions are felt every day by the businesses and communities we serve.
Founded in 1975 by local families, Southeast Enterprises continues to grow alongside the people we support, creating opportunities that lead to connection, confidence, and a brighter future.
At Southeast Enterprises, purpose is at the center of everything we do.
