45th Annual Art Westport
This September 5-7, we’re proud to participate in the 45th Annual Art Westport, one of Kansas City’s most beloved arts festivals, drawing more than 30,000 visitors. For Southeast, it marks an exciting milestone: the launch of our very first in-house product line; a collection of handcrafted incense cones and custom glass and ceramic holders, created by the individuals we serve.

About Southeast Enterprises
Southeast Enterprises is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sheltered workshop based in Kansas City. For 50 years, we’ve provided meaningful, paid employment opportunities for hundreds of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our supportive environment helps build confidence, develop skills, and promote independence, empowering individuals to thrive at their own pace.
In addition to in-house employment, our Associates on the Move (ATM) initiative connects individuals with small-group, community-based jobs and volunteer experiences. From preparing donated furniture to janitorial work in local businesses, our ATM teams grow their independence while making real contributions in inclusive spaces across Kansas City.
We believe in the dignity of work and proudly celebrate the many ways our associates contribute to their community through both job performance and personal expression.
